New Steps

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens…  Ecclesiastes 3:1

Seasons of life leave and seasons of life come.

My son just got engaged and we are over-the-top thrilled. With this comes a new stage of life.

I don’t know about you, but I have a personality that embraces the next stage… as long as it’s not a sad stage (see a previous post). When I was five, I was eager to get on that big school bus. I had seen it driving by week after week. As the oldest child in my family, I didn’t really know what “school” was, but Mom and Dad had told me that I would learn to read there and so lets go!

The first two days of kindergarten was confusing—so many of the children were crying. Was that what I should do too? I tried but gave up. I found nothing to cry about!

This is my newest life-stage–adding a daughter to my family. God didn’t have the one-year-old girl for us that we had thought would have join the family last year. But we are getting blessed with another girl!

And all the joys their marriage will bring.
